Privacy, in plain view
What Oathan
currently stores.
Here is what we save when you request early access or invite an accountability partner, why we need it, and how you can delete it. This covers the features available today.
Early-access requests
When you request early access, Oathan saves your chosen assistant, example commitment, email, permission to contact you, and the time you submitted the form.
We use your email to contact you about the private beta. The request does not start a commitment, collect its full rules, or move money. We only save it if you enter an email and agree to those updates.
Private accountability invitations
When you create an invitation, Oathan saves your chosen assistant, goal, deadline, and confirmation that you may share those terms. It creates private links for managing the commitment and inviting a partner. When needed, it also creates a link that lets the partner withdraw. These links contain unique, hard-to-guess codes.
If someone accepts, we save the name they provide and when they responded. We also record when the commitment was created, a private link was generated, shared or copied, and a partner accepted or withdrew.
How you found Oathan
Links from ads can tell us which ad brought you here. When that information is present, we save it with your request or invitation.
Ad-link details
These are the UTM source, campaign and creative values in the page address. They help us understand which ad and page led to a request.
Oathan does not currently ask for your AI conversation, contact list, messages, payment credentials, or information about your network of contacts. Private invitations do not create public posts or a public list of commitments.
How we measure site use
We use PostHog to count a limited set of actions: opening, submitting or deleting an early-access request; visiting the accountability page; creating or deleting a private commitment; copying a private link; and accepting or leaving a partner role. These counts can include which page and assistant you chose and which ad brought you here.
We do not send PostHog your commitment example, goal, proof, exceptions, name, email, private links or their secret codes, agreement contents, full page address, or the address of the page that referred you. We do not use PostHog’s automatic click/form recording or session recordings.
Measurement details
Our service forwards only the selected events and allowed labels to PostHog, including the page, page variant, assistant choice and UTM attribution. PostHog autocapture and session replay are disabled. Analytics use temporary page memory rather than an Oathan analytics cookie. Our own test visits are marked internal_qa so we can exclude them from results.
Optional OpenAI Ads measurement
On the public accountability page, we ask before enabling OpenAI Ads measurement. If you decline, we do not send those measurement events. If you allow it, we report that you created a private commitment after it has been saved. We do not include its terms, names, email, private links or secret codes, location, or user identifiers in that event.
You can change this choice on the public accountability page. Actions that happened while you declined are not reported later.
OpenAI ad and cookie details
The OpenAI pixel automatically includes the public accountability page as the event’s source URL and may use an OpenAI ad click identifier. When a ChatGPT ad supplies an oppref identifier, the pixel can use it to attribute the event to an ad and save it in a first-party __oppref cookie for later page views. Oathan does not add private links, query-string attribution values, or user-provided URLs to that event.
How the information is used and shared
We use this information to handle access requests, run private invitations, show whether a partner accepted, and understand how people find Oathan. Oathan does not sell or publish this information through the product.
Anyone with a private invitation link can open it. Send it only to someone you trust and do not forward it casually. The invited person sees the commitment terms; the creator sees whether they accepted.
Review or delete your information
If you created a private commitment, your management link lets you delete it and your partner’s response. If you accepted an invitation, your withdrawal link removes your response. Keep these links private.
The private link you receive after requesting early access lets you delete your example commitment, assistant choice, email, consent and saved ad-link information. For older requests, email support@ardsaor.com with enough detail to find your request. Do not include information you do not want shared by email.
